I just returned from a Pastor and ministers conference, and I felt the need to communicate to you some of the things that I shared there because it is a teaching that will respond to your hunger and desire for God.

Many of us at one point or the other has asked questions as to why God seems to use certain individuals very mightily, and yet there are others who are not Christians and Believers but they always seem to be out of God's program. It looks like they don't weigh so much as far as the agenda on God is concerned, and this has brought so much frustration in the body of Christ because a lot of people have gone into all kinds of spiritual exercises in an attempt to upgrade themselves to been use-able but then, I think that the true ingredients required to carry the power of God to be relevant as far as the move of God is concerned, many people do not seem to sustain it so I want to just talk on 3 things about it.

I have seen people pray for hours, had vigils, fasted, in an attempt to gain the anointing, spiritual power, mysteries of God and while that is not useless but then for many people, their disappointment is that at the end of all of the program, there is still a void and barrenness.

These that am about to teach you, the Lord taught me 10 years ago as the Secret of His sustaining presence in the life of a man. The Lord told me to do this and His Presence and Power will be upon my Life and by the Grace Of God, I have followed this thoroughly. I am sincerely happy about what God is doing through this messages in this country and outside but there is a secret to it and this is what I want you to understand, there is nothing that is happening that is a mistake or haphazard and please pay attention to this.

Why does it seem like God is doing business with certain people, it looks like one out of every one thousand persons are the ones mightily used by God. Why is God not using many people despite their spiritual activities; fasting, prayer etc

I consider this to be the fundamental determinant of the power of God in the life of a man.

(1) YOUR MOTIVES AND MOTIVATION

- The state of your heart is the highest determinant of the power and glory of God upon your beyond your fasting, prayer, night vigils, listening to messages etc. As important as they are, the state of your heart overrides them all if God must do business with you.

- Many people's motives/motivation of their pursuit for God was corrupted from beginning. There are people who seek God because they want to build a career around ministry, those who applied for jobs and didn't get it and said to themselves "Let's go to the vineyard and use ministry to build a career". CORRUPTED MOTIVES.

- There are others who desire the anointing to show family members and people that they are not failures. As well meaning as that motive is, IT IS CORRUPTED. This is the reason why you find some people who seem not to be engaging in much spiritual activity like fasting but God has so much interest in them.

- 8 out of 9 of all pastors and men of God that call me, send texts, sow seeds and are desperately looking for the anointing, most of them, their motives are corrupted.

- So you can go for 40 days fast but God looks beyond the physical activity and searches your heart for your motives.

Let's look at John 12; When Mary took a half litre of expensive perfume (pure nard) and poured on Jesus feet. Judas Iscariot said "Why was this oil not sold and the money given to the poor". Though this idea sounded good, the noticed were corrupted because Judas was Jesus treasurer so if the perfume was sold, the money would have returned to him to keep embezzling. Its not as if he had compassion for the poor. This is an example of the motives and motivation behind so many people.

- People pray for the anointing as if they really love sick people, and break for financial prosperity as if they really want to help people and advance the kingdom, they pray for crowds as if they ate so compassionate but at the heart of their pursuit is this self centered, demonic and sometimes satanic motivation.

- You can fast, pray, drink anointing oil, fly and roll on the anointed man of God's bed, when this adjustments of the state of your heart is not in place, forget about God doing business with you especially in this end time. (Pro 16:2).

- A lot of young people see me in meetings and they pray and sat " O God, give me what you gave given this gut", but I cab sense that their motives are corrupted. They want to be celebrities and since they can't run like Usain Bolt, they feel ministry is the cheapest route for fame.

- Hannah wanted a child, but her motive was to prove to Penninah that she also had a womb but God never answered her until she changed and aligned her motives with the will of God.

- There are people here, if God will give you one tenth of the anointing you are crying for, God will need to summon prayer warriors to pray for your salvation, not even the church.

- In the music ministry, many when they started ran around pastors seeking for anointing and the moment God lifts them a little they change in a way you can't imagine. It is where the pay check is the fattest, that is where the Holy Spirit is directing them. Do if they give you a ministration in one small fellowship where there are 30 zealous youth genuinely hungry for God and in Victoria Island where you are flying business class, you sit down, calculate and say "I have suffered in this life" then you take all manners of selfies and snapshots of yourself and write under 'GOD IS FAITHFUL' but the motive behind that statement is corrupt because what you really mean is look at my life now and be intimidated.

God is still looking for men and women. There is no man that can bring the kind of revival we want single handedly. The best of any man is AN EFFECTIVE MEMBER OF THE BODY. God is looking for an army not a person. If it looks like God is minimizing His power, it is because men aren't ready.

- Ladies want to marry men of God. You will think they care about the vineyard and love the man but behind their motive is that last time the watched their TV, they saw mama of a particular ministry and admired her and how people are coming to present gifts. So they said 'If this is what mama is all about, then am up for it'.

- When you see a man very close to the anointing and didn't receive it, his motives stopped him from receiving. Nowadays people lobby in church for positions and office.

LISTEN; GOD IS A DISCERNER OF THOUGHTS AND INTENTS.

- When last did a Man Of God pray and say " O Lord, lift this people, bless them, even if you don't bless me but just bless them. COMPASSION IS A BIG KEY TO WALKING IN THE ANOINTING.

- Ask yourself why you really need the anointing. Love God and align your motives.

- For Men Of God please know this; Anointing has never and will never be an instrument for exchange of money. For pastors who tell people to give money in exchange for healing, breakthrough etc. You may not be fake but it will kill your anointing with time.

(2) LEVEL OF PASSION/HUNGER FOR GOD

- Seeking God is a full time pursuit. Pursuit is the prove of passion. When you have passion for something, you'll search and seek for it unsupervised. You always have time for what you are passionate about..

- If at any point, you notice you no longer have passion and you are not obsessed with God, you need a retreat instantly.

- Watch people who have passion for football. The match is by 4 but BT 2 they are already sitted arguing about ball till 4, PASSION but come to the house of God and see coldness.

- When a little believer begins to show passion for God, everyone starts calling him pastor.

- Until your love for God makes someone else uncomfortable, you don't really love God enough yet. Evert champion is a fanatic in whatever he is excelling in.

- Before you want the anointing of God in a man, you must meet the standard of his level of hunger for God.

(Read Psalms 69:9

- Until you love God more than money, wife, family, children, ministry etc you are not entitled to host His GLORY...
